About the clinician

I love helping persons of all ages from the young child to the elderly and of diverse backgrounds. 

Specialized services include trauma (post-traumatic struggles, self-harm, suicidal thoughts...), child welfare (attachment, developmental abuse, reunification, foster care, adoption...), and trauma-informed mental health consultation (with parents, caregivers, program staff...).

For many years (over 25), I have been professionally helping others through times of uncertainty, pain, and suffering. Services were provided in varied capacities from direct counseling to program development and supervision. Settings have included residential programs for children and teens, foster and adoption agencies, and mental health organizations.

Undergraduate studies in Social Work and later graduate studies in Professional Counseling were completed at Cairn University, followed by state licensure and private practice in 2012.
